I entered the competitive Bodybuilding world in 2015 with the National Physique Committee (NPC). After competing in 5 amateur shows, I was awarded my professional status and entered the International Federation of Bodybuilding (IFBB) in 2016.

Competitive bodybuilding gave me the renewed drive and excitement that I had been missing since giving up practicing sports a few years prior due to chronic knee problems. Being an athlete has always been part of who I am, so being able to train, and dive into nutrition — things that I was already passionate about as trainer — was the perfect combination.

It was through competing that I learned much about myself, and my ability to overcome physical and emotional barriers that come with the intense and exhausting training regimen required for a show. The lessons I learned as a competitor helped me develop many of my own fitness and nutrition methodologies.

The ability to truly hold the reigns of your body and your mind is a very empowering experience.
